I’m Vanessa — the heart behind Simply Tidy Solutions.
I have to be honest and confess — this business wasn’t something I dreamed of as a child, but maybe it was meant to be. It’s something I discovered over time, and today, it gives me a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment. You know that phrase, “Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life”? That couldn’t feel more true to me now.
Simply Tidy Solutions wasn’t created to be just another cleaning and organizing service. My team and I take pride in noticing what others often miss. We offer detailed, personalized service — because every client is unique, and so are their needs.
I was born and raised in Brazil, and from a very young age, I found joy in organizing and caring for the home. While my siblings and other kids played outside, I was happily folding clothes, rearranging furniture, and bringing order to every little space. That love for detail has always been part of me.
For many years, I worked as an executive assistant in a large international corporation. It was a fast-paced, demanding environment, and I learned so much from it. I became known not only for my dedication, but also for my ability to build strong relationships with everyone around me. I had the privilege of supporting high-level executives, managing complex schedules, coordinating events, and helping lead teams — always with responsibility, care, and heart.
Life took me through several cities and countries as I followed my family’s journey — until we arrived in Chicago, a place that welcomed us with open arms and where I finally decided to plant my roots.
After years of focusing on my family and adapting to a new culture, I started asking myself: How can I work with something that truly brings me joy? That’s when I realized my passion for helping others, creating order, and making life easier could become more than just a talent — it could become a business with purpose.
And that’s how Simply Tidy Solutions was born: naturally, and with a lot of heart.
Starting this new chapter fills me with butterflies — the good kind. Because if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that everything I do is with intention and love. And that combination has never failed me.
